to dispel some of the Myths surrounding
a new
website.
How many times have you seen someone advertising that they
will
get you top rank in the search engines, If they create your site for
you.
To answer that question. Lets pretend that your
name is Maggie. You want
a website selling poodles. It
will be titled Maggies little poodles.
You could
immediately get top rank if someone were to Google
",Maggies little poodles."
How many people will
think of that!
They would most likely google "Poodles for
sale," or "poodle puppies".
Keyword is imperative for rank in
the search engines.
And googling poodles for sale, Maggies
would not even
show until maybe page 50-100.
The idea is to be unique and creative!
Maybe Maggie has Red,
Chocolate, or tiny teacup
Poodles. Then we could concentrate on
that, with
keywords instead. And get her higher up, to like
page 1-2.
So the idea is to be
unique,creative and come up quickly.
Meta tags: Meta tags are an invisible tag that only the robots see.
They contain title,description and keywords.
This invisible message to the robots help determine how your
pages get indexed. Some search engines read them
and, some do not.
Search
Engine Submission:
I will submit your site to the search engines after it is finished.
If you purchase a pet, or other website that will need frequent
adjusting.
I will update and change your photos as
needed, and change anything you want changed for 15.00 hr.
I will set you up with a email address that
matches your domain name.
Hypotheticaly you were "Maggies
little poodles".
Then your business name is
"maggieslittlepoodles.com"
or
your web address then is
"http://www.maggieslittlepoodles.com"
so
your email should be something like
"info@maggieslittlepoodles.com"
You
will be able to check your email as often as you
would like. If you want your mail sent to
the mail box you frequent
It can be forwarded automatically.

site was created for the Yorkshire Terrier breeder.
This
particular site has fewer graphics than many.
The reason being is design versus
time! As any webmaster can tell you,
load time can mean the
difference between life and death in a small business.
In
other words, a page that has many Photos, high graphics
content
such as colored background, music in
background, and not as much text,
will load much slower, than a
plain white background, and
few pictures, and graphics, and lots
of text. And unfortunately, many people surfing the
web
will not wait for a page like that to load, and will move on
to
the next site.
So one must weigh their
options, and determine each individual circumstances
for each
site.
So if you specialize in something where the competition
is limited like
selling original parts for an
antique car. Then most people know
already they should wait for
your page to load, and see if you have the part they
need. Versus
someone selling t.
shirts. There are many of t shirt dealers. So be creative, unique,
and
for gods sake! make your page load fast.
